(I know I'm breaking the whole "wordless thing here but I'm hoping putting it in parenthesis will not count as words but in the last picture notice the squirrel on the tree its expression is priceless)
Lily loves to chase the ducks, when she's done she comes trotting back inside, glad she protected us from the dangers of domesticated by bread crumbs ducks.
Vic, yeah we do have a good yard, if your not a human with ears. Imagine all of those pictures accompanied by hammers, the hum of the younger kid's electric barbie jeeps and maybe a bird if your lucky. Thanks
Banteringblond, thanks! I guess suburban yards do have their perks.
To the creation of a thirteen-year-old who desperately needed to be read. Welcome to the place where “I want to be an adult” meets “I wish I was three”. Welcome to an anchored boat that somehow wound up in the land of weeded sod and red brick. And most importantly, welcome to the realm of Princessparkle.
I’m condemned to living in the year 2009, I wish it were earlier. I was heart-wrenchingly, unmistakably, and painfully born in the wrong time. I’m a Christian, but just a young one. I’m attempting to learn French because my family speaks it without me. I’m terrible at “about me”s and much rather be making up some fictional character to write about. I love music and the advances in it that result in all of my favorite bands may be the only thing anchoring me to this age. I like Classical, but I won’t limit myself to it, I also like alternative/rock/verging on punk. I play piano, but not very well yet. My life-long goal is to be published, not just a post on my blog like the button at the bottom of the screen suggest, but with paper, ink and the yellow pages that I love to flip through on other books. I lack brevity like dark chocolate lacks sugar so I must end this now.
Ever since reading Swallows and Amazons I’ve been obsessed with sailing, in spite the fact that I have no knowledge of it whatsoever apart from what I’ve learned from the book. I sort of do “sail” around suburbia, if wandering aimlessly counts as some form of metaphorical sailing. I did this to emphasize my misplacement in suburbia, and it also makes a good alliteration!
Do the dogs chase the ducks? I would chase the ducks. I like to butt things you know...

ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful backyard!! I want to find a comfortable chair out on the lawn and read a good book (and watch the squirrel!)
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures!
Those are great pictures ... and what a great yard you have!
